PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress flickers even when the blinking period of a fluorescent lamp and the frame rate of an imaging device vary.SOLUTION: A light source blinks in a blinking period PRlight, and a driver exposes an imaging surface in an exposure period PRvsync shorter than the blinking period PRlight. A CPU calculates a period equivalent to a value obtained by multiplying the exposure period PRvsync by a value obtained by dividing the blinking period PRlight by the exposure period PRvsync and rounding-up fractions as a specific exposure period, sets an exposure time equivalent to the exposure period PRvsync in the driver in a time period different from the specific exposure period, and on the other hand, sets an exposure time equivalent to a residual obtained by dividing the blinking period PRlight by the exposure period PRvsync in the driver. Composite image data is prepared in the exposure period PRvsync on the basis of image data of the number of frames equivalent to the specific exposure period produced by exposure operation of the driver. |
