PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks or chatters from developing in a corner and the like of a punching die hole when punching a sheet material such as corrugated board, and to save labor in manufacturing a punching die.SOLUTION: In elastic members 1, 3, and 5 for punching dies, which are attached in proximity to cutting members 21, 22, and 24 on a base plate 12 of a punching die 11 mounted on a die cutter, come in pressure-contact with a sheet material, when the sheet material is to be notched by the cutting members 21, 22, and 24, to hold the sheet material at a home position, and then to get a punching part of the sheet material separated from the punching die 11, notches 2, 4, and 6 made to run along corners, ends, or bends of the cutting members 21, 22, and 24 so as to fit into them are formed from the outer periphery to the inside. When the corrugated board is punched, tensile force acting on the corrugated board is dispersed radially to escape centering around the deep parts of the notches 2, 4, and 6. It is not necessary to attach a plurality of elastic members to the base plate 12 of the cutting die 11 to each part, respectively. |
