PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device capable of adjusting a temperature and a flow rate of hot water and water discharged from a combination faucet and also capable of reducing cost and size of a faucet device.SOLUTION: A valve device 1 comprises: an outer cylinder 2; and an inner cylinder 10 disposed inside the outer cylinder 2. The outer cylinder 2 has: a first fluid side inflow port 3; a second fluid side inflow port 4; and a mixed fluid side outflow port 5. The inner cylinder 10 includes: a first fluid side opening 12 corresponding to the first fluid side inflow port 3; and a second fluid side opening 13 corresponding to the second fluid side inflow port 4. By the rotation of the inner cylinder 10, a first fluid side flow passage 14 and a second fluid side flow passage 15 are formed. The valve device 1 is formed in such a manner that the total sum of a cross sectional area of the first fluid side flow passage 14 and a cross sectional area of the second fluid side flow passage 15 is constant, or a cross sectional area ratio of the cross sectional area of the first fluid side flow passage 14 and the cross sectional area of the second fluid side flow passage 15 is constant, in a rotation range of the inner cylinder 10 where the cross sectional area of the first fluid side flow passage 14 and the cross sectional area of the second fluid side flow passage 15 change. |
