PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor capable of reducing levitation force of the rotor caused by buoyancy working on the rotor immersed in a plating bath without restriction of the size or structure of the rotor, and to provide a molten metal plating apparatus into which the rotor is integrated.SOLUTION: The rotor for a molten metal plating bath integrated into a molten metal plating apparatus for plating a steel plate with a molten metal has an approximately cylindrical steel plate contact region part to be brought into contact with the steel plate, a bearing slide part for sliding with a bearing arranged in the plating apparatus, and a pressure receiving part onto which a prescribed load is applied. In the rotor for a molten metal plating bath, the pressure receiving part is arranged so as not to include the steel plate contact region part of the steel plate and the bearing slide part, and the direction of the load applied onto the pressure receiving part is a direction against buoyancy working on the rotor for a molten metal plating bath during the molten metal plating bath. |
