PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a display delay time for an image displayed in a display unit at photographing time to reduce a sense of discomfort in a photographing operation, and enable composition and focus, etc. to be suitably checked. ! SOLUTION: A resize circuit 102 performs a prescribed resize process on an image-captured image to make it a processed image. This processed image is subjected to successive image processes different from the resize process in latter stages before being recorded in a recording medium. At photographing time, a controller 119 exerts display control on the processed image which is the output of the resize circuit and the image subjected to processes in latter stages selectively displayed in a display unit on the basis of distortion aberration correction data corresponding to the focal distance of a photographic lens. !
