The present invention relates to a filter press which dehydrates various kinds of materials to be dehydrated, including moisture and a solid and, more particularly, to a filter press which compresses and dehydrates the materials by operating a screw which is rotated by a driving unit inside a cylindrical screen with an inlet and an outlet. The filter press includes one or more scrapers which are installed in the screw. The material to be dehydrated is put into the screen through the inlet and is compressed and dehydrated by the screw which rotates by interlocking with the driving unit. In addition, the materials inside the screen are scraped by the scraper which rotates along with the screw so that the clogging of the screen can be prevented. Therefore, the filter press can minimize the clogging of the screen, can minimize the consumption of washing water and the generation of washing wastewater, and can stabilize the structure of a rotating blade by improving an operation rate. |
