A gas burner (100) with inward-facing flames is disclosed, comprising a base body (2) disposed under a cooktop (1) and a discoid lid (5) disposed onto said base body (2). Said base body (2) comprises a central chamber (30) connected to a horizontal Venturi tube (7) fed by a gas injector (6); a peripheral annular chamber (23) and partitions (4) defining apertures (40) providing communication between the central chamber (30) and the peripheral annular chamber (23). Said lid (5) comprises a central dish (50) disposed onto said central chamber (3) of the base body, an intermediate toroidal portion (51) disposed onto the partitions (4) of the base body, and a flame ring (52) disposed onto the peripheral annular chamber (23) for propagation of flame inwards. |
