The device has a group of light sources e.g. LEDs (11), emitting light with first wavelength, and a second group of light sources emitting light with second wavelength. A light emission end (2) is integrated into a body (3) in an irremovable manner, where a cosmetic treatment end i.e. brush end (1), is removable and interchangeable. A drive unit moves the cosmetic treatment end. A sealing unit is provided between the body and a drive axle of the cosmetic treatment end. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a receptacle and cosmetic device assembly (2) a cosmetic method.
