The present invention relates to an electric motor. The electric motor includes a frame; a stator which includes a stator core, inserted into an inner side of the frame to contact or be joined with the frame, and a stator coil; and a rotor arranged to be able to rotate with respect to the stator. The frame and the stator core have coefficients of thermal expansion different from each other. The specific gravity of the frame is relatively smaller than that of the stator core. The thermal deformation value of the frame is bigger than that of the stator core. The frame and the stator core are formed to have an escaping prevention part, which prevents separation or escaping of the frame and the stator core caused by different deformation values when the temperature changes. Accordingly, the frame and the stator are tightly joined regardless of changes in the temperature. |
