The circuit (2) has a feed pump (5) located upstream of a thermal engine (1) for circulation of a coolant in tubes (3) formed in a cylinder head of the thermal engine, so that the coolant is recovered in a coolant outlet casing (8). A coolant inlet manifold (21) is connected to an inlet of the feed pump for collecting the coolant from the coolant outlet casing. A thermostatic valve (31) is located in the inlet manifold upstream of the pump, where the valve is intended to block a flow of the coolant in the inlet manifold as long as the coolant temperature is below a threshold temperature.
