<p>Use of a liquid solution of an alkali metal formate in a solvent of feed solution for extracting volatile compound contained in a liquid solvent by osmotic evaporation method, is claimed. The feed solution is entrained in circulation in contact with a first surface (111) of a membrane (11) adapted to allow the transfer of the volatile compound by osmosis in a gaseous state. The liquid solution of the alkali metal formate is entrained in circulation in contact with a second surface (112) of the membrane opposite to the first surface. An independent claim is included for extraction of volatile compound contained in the liquid solvent by osmotic evaporation method, comprising circulating the feed solution contact with the first surface of the membrane adapted to allow the transfer of the volatile compound by osmosis in a gaseous state, and circulating a second liquid solution of extraction solution contact with the second surface of the membrane, where the extraction solution is a solution of alkali metal formate in a solvent.</p> |
