Disclosed are a method and a system for managing client points using a VAN server. The method of the present invention includes: a payment processing step of performing a payment process by a VAN server according to a payment request of a store payment machine; a pointing step of storing payment data and generating point data corresponding to the payment data by the VAN server; a transmitting step of transmitting, to the store payment machine, the point data converted in a code form, along with the payment data by the VAN server; an output step of outputting, by the store payment machine, the point data converted in a code form along with a payment receipt; and an accumulating step of storing and managing, by the VAN server, the point data recognized from a client terminal based on a telephone number of the corresponding client terminal. |
