The method involves obtaining an identifier of a current supply profile (PP1) compatible with a current use region of a terminal (TRM). The identifier is stored in a non-volatile memory (C1) of a secure element i.e. embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) (MSEC). The identifier of the current supply profile is obtained from a command (CMD) issued by a domain security server (SM-SR), and received by a security privileged domain (ISD-R) of the eUICC, where the domain security server and security privileged domain communicate according to SCP80 or SCP81 protocol. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a secure element (2) a terminal.
