The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a tire tread and a tire manufactured using the same. The rubber composition for a tire tread comprises: 100 parts by weight of raw rubber including 70 to 90 parts by weight of solution polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber, wherein the styrene content is 35 to 45 wt%, the vinyl content in butadiene is 20 to 30 wt%, the weight-average molecular weight is 1,000,000 to 1,500,000 g/mol, the molecular weight distribution is 1.0 to 2.0, and polymerization is conducted by a continuous method without coupling, and 10 to 30 parts by weight of neodymium butadiene rubber; and 80 to 100 parts by weight of highly dispersible silica. The rubber composition for a tire tread can improve abrasion resistance and fuel efficiency without degrading a braking performance. |
