A system for assembling body parts of vehicles comprises a part stacking unit for the parts to be assembled, a hanger loading unit, a loading robot, a work robot, an unloading robot, and a return device. The part stacking unit stacks the parts to be assembled. The hanger loading unit is arranged close to the part stacking unit, and loads hangers which are able to grip the parts to be assembled. The loading robot has the hangers at a leading end of an arm to grip the parts to be assembled of the part stacking unit, and separates the hangers which are gripping the parts to be assembled from the leading end of the arm. The work robots have arms to attach to and detach from the hangers at each leading end of the arms, receives the hangers separated from the loading robot while gripping the parts to be assembled in a sequential manner, and mount the hangers at each of the leading end of the arms for carrying out the work. The unloading robot mounts the hangers gripping the parts assembled by the working robots at the leading end of the arm, and takes out the hangers separated from the parts to the hanger loading unit. The return device is installed at the hanger loading unit, and returns the hangers taken out by the unloading robot to the loading robot. |
