The present invention relates to a device and a method for promoting a book or a pamphlet using an augmented reality. The device for promoting a book or a pamphlet using an augmented reality comprises the following: a storing unit to store augmented reality marker information formed in a book or a pamphlet and a promotion image associated with the corresponding book or pamphlet; a camera unit to collect augmented reality markers; a key input unit to search for other promotion images associated with the book or the pamphlet stored in the storing unit by using a text; an audio processing unit to search for other promotion images associated with the book or the pamphlet stored in the storing unit by using a voice; a control unit to control the promotion image stored in the storing unit and the actual book or pamphlet image data gathered by the camera unit to be sent to a mixing unit, wherein the promotion image and the actual book or pamphlet image data are matched with the augmented reality markers collected by the camera unit, which are the data searched by the key input unit or the data searched by the audio processing unit; the mixing unit to mix all data collected by the control unit and replay the promotion image associated with the book or the pamphlet on the actual book or pamphlet image data; and an image processing unit to replay the augmented reality image mixed by the mixing unit. |
