<p>The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a soft seatback cover by utilizing scrap of headliner taken out for sunroof opening of a vehicle. The method comprises the steps of processing a mold to perform a work for forming a cutting line on a headliner base material to cut an opening and a work for forming the shape for manufacturing the seatback cover in the opening simultaneously; forming the cutting line in the part in which the opening part is formed by putting the headliner base material in the mold and pressurizing headliner base material for forming the shape of the seatback cover on the surface of the opening; and processing the product by taking the molded headliner out, cutting it along the cutting line to form the opening part, and post-processing the cut opening processing unit to the seatback cover. According to the present invention, the scrap which is scrapped as a waste is utilized as other components, thereby reducing the costs, improving the productivity, improving the soft feeling (cushioning effect) of the seatback cover, reducing the weight, having the elegant appearance, preventing the noise in the vehicle, and improving the absorbing performance.</p> |
