The present invention relates to a door latch for a vehicle having an improved assembling structure in which a lock module for controlling a locking state of a latch module is assembled to the latch module which performs a function of locking a door through the constraint of a striker to be stacked, and promotes the function of locking the door and the function of the locked door. The present invention relates to the latch module which performs the locking function of the vehicle door by restricting the striker fixed to the vehicle body, and the vehicle door latch which is installed at the latch module to be stacked, displaces a lock pin formed in the latch module, and sets the engagement state of a pawl lever and a release lever to set the locking state of the latch module, wherein the lock module comprises a lock lever which displaces the lock pin through the conformal rotation; a control lever which is connected to the lock lever to be rotated; and a central lock motor which provides the rotary force according to the reverse rotation of the control lever, wherein the lock lever, the control lever, and the central lock motor of the lock module are accommodated in an accommodating space of a retainer comprising a fixed retainer member and a cover retainer member to form the one-piece structure, and wherein the lock module which forms the one-piece structure through the retainer is accommodated in the accommodating space of a water proof case, and is stacked to the latch module to be fixed. |
