PURPOSE: A recycled or regenerated catalyst for a heavy crude oil hydrogenization process is provided to selectively remove vanadium elements from a used catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A recycled or regenerated catalyst for a heavy crude oil hydrogenization process includes active components and a carrier, and contains less than 1wt% of vanadium oxide measured by XRF. The active components are selected from the group consisting of molybdenum, tungsten, cobalt, nickel, and their oxide. The active components contains the molybdenum or the tungsten as a main catalyst, and the cobalt or the nickel as a co-catalyst. |
