A method for controlling a load of an air conditioner of a power control system is provided to reduce the number of repetitive control of an air conditioner by controlling a load of the air conditioner based on a target power schedule. A watt-hour meter updates an EOI signal(S200). A power controller determines a control time according to a set target power value(S202). The power controller initializes a present accumulation power amount(S205). The power controller periodically collects a present power amount during a fixed period(S206). The power controller calculates an estimated accumulation power amount. The power controller determines whether the estimated accumulation power amount exceeds a target power amount or not(S207). If the estimated accumulation power amount exceeds the target power amount before a control period, the power controller performs a primary facility control(S208). If the estimated accumulation power amount exceeds the target power amount after a control period, the power controller performs a facility control during a control period(S210). |
