PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the dryness even when the wet steam is in a transient state.SOLUTION: The dryness measuring apparatus includes: a variation amount measuring section (101) for measuring the variation amount of the intensity or absorbance of light having transmitted through the wet steam to be measured; and a dryness measuring section (102) for measuring the dryness of the wet steam on the basis of the correlation between the dryness and the variation amount of the intensity or absorbance of the light. The fact that there is a certain correlation between the dryness and the variation amount of the intensity or absorbance of the light can be measured by an experiment or the like, so that, when the variation amount of the intensity or absorbance of the light can be measured, the dryness of the wet steam can be measured even if the wet steam of the light is in the transient state. |
