The mold (BF) has a mold bottom part (6) utilized for forming a receiving space (7) for a dough. A mold wall (5) formed on the receiving space is faced away from an outer surface (8). A handle (2) is utilized for handling the baking mold, where the handle is pivoted relative to the mold wall through a joint. The handle is formed in section-wise bent wire yokes (3). The handle is partially provided with a handling layer (10) that is accommodated into a handle body, where the handle layer and the handle body are made from hydrophobic cross linked polymer e.g. silicone.
