The arrangement has a data bus (1), at which a master (2) and two slaves (3) are connected, where each slave is connected to the data bus with its input over a switch. The low-potentials are monitored at the input of each slave. An opening signal is outputted to the switch, when a low-potential for a time period encounters to the input of each slave. The low-potential for the time period is longer than the duration of the longest low-potential during the data transfer on the data bus. An independent claim is included for a method for operating an arrangement.
