The box has a housing (2) which is provided with contact inserts (3) for electrical connection of sensors or actuators. The inserts are fixed in corresponding openings in housing. The insert is provided with contact carrier (5) having contact elements arranged in corresponding bores, and guide sleeve. A guide sleeve is provided to surround portion of associated contact carrier at radial distance and comprised with internal thread. The insert is individually manufactured from integral component of plastic material, and attached to housing by latching connection.
