PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance which operates by receiving power supply from a plurality of battery packs connected in series capable of performing appropriate discharge control while suppressing damage on each battery pack caused by the discharge even when the discharge capacities of the plurality of battery packs are different from each other.SOLUTION: When a plurality of battery packs 11 and 12 are mounted on an electric appliance body, each of the batteries 20 and 40 is connected in series and it is supplied to a motor 61 as a power source of the motor 61. An MCU 62 in a control circuit 15 of the body acquires discharge capacity information indicating the discharge capacities of the built-in batteries 20 and 40 from each of the plurality of battery packs 11 and 12. The MCU 62 sets at least one control parameter for controlling the discharge to the motor 61 at least based on the discharge capacity information of the battery whose discharge capacity is the lowest, based on each piece of the acquired discharge capacity information, and controls the discharge to the motor 61 by using the control parameter. |
