摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high drivability while further improving fuel economy by fuel cut and idle stop.SOLUTION: For controlling a vehicle which is configured so that driving force outputted by an internal combustion engine is inputted into an automatic transmission to be transmitted to vehicle shafts, in accordance with establishment of fuel cut conditions, fuel cut for halting fuel supply is performed, and a transmission ratio of the automatic transmission is operated toward a low gear side with decrease in vehicle speed. Also, while the transmission ratio changes toward the low gear side, an opening degree of a valve for restricting intake air disposed in an intake air passage is increased. By increasing the opening degree of the valve for restricting intake air during fuel cut, it is possible to reduce pumping loss of the internal combustion engine and to reduce increase of deceleration level of a vehicle.
