PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable capable of compatibly keeping the flexibility and preventing the increase in transmission loss.SOLUTION: The optical cable 1 includes: an optical fiber tape core wire 10A including an optical fiber 80A having a core 81 and a cladding 82 surrounding the core 81; a jacket 70 surrounding the optical fiber tape core wire 10A; and a braid 60 that includes a braided stitch and is disposed inside the jacket 70. In the optical cable 1, the jacket 70 is integrated with the braid 60 via the braided stitch. This integration suppresses the meandering of the optical fiber 80A caused by the contraction of the jacket 70 at a low temperature. |
