PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preserving liquid tea or pasty tea over a long period of time while keeping a flavor or color tone thereof excellent by preventing oxidative degradation thereof. ! SOLUTION: The method for preserving liquid tea or pasty tea comprises a step of preserving the liquid tea or the pasty tea in an oxygen-absorptive container which is obtained by using an oxygen-absorptive multilayer body as a whole or partially, which body is obtained by layering a thermoplastic resin-containing sealant layer, an oxygen absorption layer comprising an oxygen-absorptive resin composition containing a copolymerized polyolefin compound and a transition metal catalyst, and a gas barrier layer containing a substance having gas barrier properties in this order and which body comprises at least three layers.
