<p>The stopper inserted from an outer side (3) of a converter (2) into a tap hole (5) and fixed in a region of an inner side (4) after the overflow of a liquid ash from liquid steel through the tap hole and fixed to a refractory material mixed together with a clay material, aggregates, binder, water, mineral oil, and plasticizers, is claimed. The refractory material comprises spherical expanded clay bodies mixed with the other additives, and has a rough outer layer, water absorbency and a long-lasting thermal stability. A part or the entire amount of bodies consists of clay. A volume fraction of the spherical clay bodies is 2.5-45% of the refractory and clay materials. The spherical clay bodies consist of broken materials. A part of the refractory material is replaced by the spherical clay bodies and/or by clay grains and/or hollow mineral glass. An outer stopper surface (18) is coated with clay.</p> |
