Disclosed is a wireless communication antenna module and a portable terminal having the same, in which magnetic material sheets are laminated on and under an antenna sheet having a radiation pattern formed thereon, thereby maximizing the capability of an antenna. The disclosed wireless communication antenna module comprises: an antenna sheet having a radiation pattern formed on at least one surface from among the upper surface and the lower surface thereof, the radiation pattern having a shape of loops formed by winding a wire multiple times along a portion having no pattern formed thereon; a first magnetic material sheet laminated on the upper surface of the antenna sheet; and a second magnetic material sheet laminated on the lower surface of the antenna sheet.
