PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common configuration for supporting transfer members having different shapes.SOLUTION: In a transfer member (T1k) for transferring an image on a surface of an image holding body (PRk) to a medium (B), one of the following transfer members can be selectively used: a first transfer member (1k) which rotates around a rotation shaft (P1); and a second transfer member (31k) which rotates around a rotation shaft (P2), is larger in outer diameter than the first transfer member (1k), and has a softer outer surface. A transfer apparatus (T1+T2+B) includes: the transfer member (T1k); and a support member (2k) which supports a rotation shaft of the first transfer member (1k) or the second transfer member (31k), and is rotatably supported around a rotation center arranged on a perpendicular bisector (L12) of an imaginary line segment (L11) which connects a position of the rotation shaft (P1) of the first transfer member (1k) with a position of the rotation shaft (P2) of the second transfer member (31k). |
