PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a wireless base station to which a wireless terminal belongs to recognize that the wireless terminal wishes to receive Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service (MBMS) even when the wireless terminal cannot receive MBMS in a cell to which the wireless terminal belongs of the wireless base station to which the wireless terminal belongs.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system comprises a plurality of wireless base stations 21-23 and a wireless terminal 40. The wireless terminal 40 belongs to a specific wireless base station (wireless base station to which the wireless terminal 40 belongs) of wireless base stations 21-23. The wireless terminal 40 receives MBMS control information from a cell to which the wireless terminal 40 does not belong and which is managed by the wireless base station to which the wireless terminal 40 belongs, or at least one of the wireless base stations 21-23 to which the wireless terminal 40 does not belong, and transmits information indicating a radio resource from which the wireless terminal 40 receives or wishes to receive MBMS to the wireless base station to which the wireless terminal 40 belongs.
