PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly and easily perform re-focusing operation processing on a desired subject position.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a light field data acquisition section for acquiring light field data obtained from an imaging element where a plurality of pixels which receive luminous flux that passes through a partial region of a pupil of a photographing lens are arranged; a position information acquisition section for acquiring information on a position of a subject within a field angle in which the light field data is imaged; a refocusing image generation section for generating image data by using a refocusing coefficient at a prescribed focus position of the light field data; a display section for displaying a refocusing image; a position designation section for designating an arbitrary position of the image displayed by the display section; a distance calculation section for calculating a distance between the designated position and the position of the subject; a selection section for selecting one subject on the basis of the distance calculated by the distance calculation section; and a corrected refocusing image generation section for generating the refocusing image by using the refocusing coefficient at the position of the subject selected by the selection section. |
