PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing the growth promoting effect of a plant cultivation method that uses artificial light irradiation to promote plant growth.SOLUTION: In a plant cultivation method including a process of carrying out red light irradiation to the plant (Step A) and blue light irradiation to the plant (Step B) separately in a certain period of time, a liquid fertilizer added with carbon dioxide is applied at least during Step A, preferably during both Steps A and B, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the fertilizer applied in Step A is set higher than that applied in Step B. Specifically, the concentrations of carbon dioxide in the fertilizer applied in Step A and in Step B are 1000-5000 ppm and 500-2000 ppm respectively, with a difference of 300 ppm or more. |
