PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sock which is knitted in such a manner as to exactly conform to a contour of a heel of a foot as much as possible, and to solve such a problem that there is a possibility that conventional socks get loose in the vicinity of ankles, or the like.SOLUTION: As shown in Figure 1, heel parts C-G of a sock in this invention include a first gore line g1, second and third gore lines g2 and g3 which are knitted before knitting the first gore line g1, and fourth and fifth gore lines g4 and g5 which are knitted after knitting the first gore line g1. Then, the second and fifth gore lines are knitted with ten knitted loops, and the third and fourth gore lines are knitted with six knitted loops. Consequently, the sock which is knitted in such a manner as to exactly conform to a contour of a heel of a foot can be provided. |
