PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily determine uptaking into cells.SOLUTION: There is provided a contrast agent 1 which is equipped with at least one molecular probe 3-5 and at least one optical probe 6 on the surface of a substrate 2 having an ultrasonic imaging function. Hence, the contrast agent 1 of a transferable size from vein to tissue can be provided, having a sensitivity not only to ultrasonic wave but also to light excellent in real time and resolution, by labeling the molecular probe 3-5 and the optical probe 6 to the substrate 2 which are capable of ultrasonic imaging.
