PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian airbag device in which an airbag can be completely expanded by suppressing floating from a front pillar.SOLUTION: An airbag 35 which is accommodated by being folded within an accommodation portion disposed near a rear end of a hood panel of a vehicle protrudes from the accommodation portion towards an oblique rear upper side while being expanded by inflow of expansion gas so as to separate a vehicle body side panel 41 and a pedestrian side panel 42, and deployed/expanded so as to cover a front side of a front pillar. The airbag 35 is folded through: a first folding step of folding the side of a rear edge 35b away from a front edge 35a at a side of the accommodation portion to the side of the pedestrian side panel 42 from the state where the vehicle body side panel 41 and the pedestrian side panel 42 are overlapped and deployed flat; and a second folding step for a rolled fold by rolling the side of the rear edge 47a at the side of the vehicle body side panel 42 after the first folding step. |
