jointly processing user interest and content semantics; wherein user interest is based at least in part on a relationship between users and content, and content semantics is based at least in part on a relationship between content and keywords; applying the joint processing to generate a content recommendation for a particular user; and transmitting an electronic signal via an electronic communication network to a computing device, wherein the electronic signal comprises information corresponding to the content recommendation.
