PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device and a measuring method capable of measuring an optical performance of a fluorescent body in a shorter time.SOLUTION: A measuring device for measuring an optical performance of a fluorescent body is provided. The measuring device includes: a light source for irradiating an excitation light to the fluorescent body; a light receiving part for receiving light having transmitted through the fluorescent body from the excitation light and fluorescent light generated in the fluorescent body by the excitation light; and a detection part for detecting the light received by the light receiving part. The light receiving part includes a casing having a predetermined length in an irradiation direction of the excitation light; a light diffusion part arranged at the side of the fluorescent body of the casing; and a window arranged at an opposite side of the light diffusion part of the casing and guiding an incident fluorescent light to the detection part. |
