<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge hydrogen more swiftly from a metal structure where the hydrogen is occluded, without changing properties of metal materials or the like.SOLUTION: In a step S101, a surface of a metal structure is contacted with an electrolyte (a first step). The electrolyte comprises a solution that suppresses the occurrence of corrosion of a metal constituting the metal structure and deposition of reduction product on the surface of the metal structure with which the electrolyte is in contact. The electrolyte, for example, may be NaOH aqueous solution in concentration of 100 mM. Then, in a step S102, a voltage within a range, in which hydrogen is oxidized electrochemically, is applied to the metal structure (a second step). For example, a voltage of about 100 mV may be applied.</p> |
