PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device of a fin and tube-type heat exchanger, capable of suppressing generation of defective products due to deformation of a fin and disturbance of fin pitches, and obtaining products of stable performance.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a heat exchanger includes a fin holding process for holding a fin 1 provided with a tube insertion groove 1a, by a fin insertion member 4, and a fin mounting process for driving the fin insertion member to an outer peripheral face of a tube 2 in which a fluid is circulated, so that the tube is fitted in the tube insertion groove, to fit the fin to the tube. The fin holding process includes a motion interlocking with a punch device for obtaining an individual fin from a fin-formed body 11 processed so that a number of individual fins are connected, and receiving each fin immediately after cut by the punch device to position and hold the fin to the fin insertion member by positioning means 5. |
