<p>A syringe (10) comprises: a protective cylinder (22) which, when located at the initial position, is capable of exposing a needle point (19) and which, when located at the advanced position, is capable of covering the needle point (19); a support cylinder (24) which supports the protective cylinder (22) so that the protective cylinder (22) is capable of moving in the axial direction; an elastic member (20) which presses the protective cylinder (22) toward the front end; a first lock mechanism (40) which, when the protective cylinder (22) is located at the initial position, prevents the protective cylinder (22) from moving toward the front end against the pressing force of the elastic member (20) and which, when the protective cylinder (22) is located at a retracted position, permits the protective cylinder (22) to move toward the front end; and a second lock mechanism (41) which, when the protective cylinder (22) is located at the advanced position, prevents the protective cylinder (22) from moving in the axial direction relative to the support cylinder.</p> |
