PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermittent infusion method for prevention of lowering of blood, and a blood purifying apparatus.SOLUTION: A blood purifying apparatus comprises: a blood purifier 1; a blood circuit 2; a blood pump 3 provided in a blood circuit 21 on an upstream side of the blood purifier 1; a venous chamber 23 provided in a blood circuit 22 on a downstream side of the blood purifier 1; a dialyzing fluid supply circuit 41; and a drain circuit 42. The blood purifying apparatus further includes: an infusion line 5 (called an online) for connecting the dialyzing fluid supply circuit 41 and the blood circuit 21 on an upstream side of the blood pump 3; an automatic on-off valve V2 in the infusion line 5; an automatic on-off valve V1 in the blood circuit 21 on an upstream side of its connection 51 with the infusion line 5; and pressure measurement means 24 in the blood circuit 21 on an upstream side of the automatic on-off valve V1.
