PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reducing deterioration of a steering feeling.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device (an EPS1) comprises: an electric motor 21 for generating assist torque on the basis of steering torque; a capacitor 45 to be discharged to the electric motor 21; and a control device 30 for controlling discharge from the capacitor 45 to the electric motor 21. The control device 30, when predicting that output of the electric motor 21 exceeds a reference motor output region, executes a control to discharge the capacitor 45 to the electric motor 21. |
