PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery separator good in heat resistance and high in adhesiveness with an electrode active material layer laminated on a collector.SOLUTION: A secondary battery separator includes: an organic separator; a heat resistant layer formed adjacent to at least one surface of the organic separator and including non-conductive particles and a binder; and an adhesive layer formed on the heat resistant layer and including a vinylidene fluoride copolymer having a melting point in the range of 70-150°C. The amount of coating per one surface of the heat resistance layer to the organic separator is in the range of 2-10 g/m, and the amount of coating per one surface of the adhesive layer to the heat resistant layer is in the range of 0.1-1.5 g/m.
