The present invention relates to a rail for a railgun which can shoot multiple times through a rotating barrel, and to a structure thereof. The rail for an existing railgun can be easily worn due to various reasons such as friction with a ballistic body and arc discharge with the ballistic body when the railgun shoots. Thus, because of the above wear problem, the railgun must be replaced after several times of shooting. As a result, the existing railgun has inconveniences in reserving extra equipment and extra rails necessary for exchanging the railgun all the time and in considering the time necessary for the replacement. The rail for a railgun prepared by the present invention has a circular or polygonal rotating barrel instead of the existing flat rail, so that the a railgun can shoot a ballistic body again using a normal side other than a worn side by rotating the rail, which is worn due to several times of shooting, at a fixed angle. Therefore, the rail for a railgun can significantly extend a replacement cycle thereof, can save time and costs necessary for replacement thereof, and can effectively maintain a railgun. |
