<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for inspecting a water meter capable of inspecting whether or not the meterage of a water meter is accurate. The apparatus for inspecting a water meter comprises: a pump which discharges water; a collection tank which collects the water discharged from the pump; a first flow path where the water discharged from the collection tank flows; multiple water meter mounting units which are installed in the first flow path; multiple divergence flow paths which are diverted from the first flow path in the downstream of the water meter mounting unit; opening and closing valves which are installed in each of the multiple divergence flow paths; a second flow path which communicates with each of the multiple divergence flow paths through a fluid and through which water flows; a control valve which is installed in the second flow path and whose opening degree can be automatically regulated; and a weight tank which collects the water flowing through the second flow path and can measure the weight of the collected water using a scale. The provided apparatus for inspecting a water meter can allow water passing a water meter to flow through multiple divergence flow paths selectively, according to a flow rate, and can regulate the opening degree of the control valve according to the flow rate of the water, in order to inspect the water meter by measuring the weight of the water using one weight tank. Therefore, the size of the apparatus for inspecting a water meter can be reduced, and an inspection time can be shortened while maintaining sufficient accuracy.</p> |
