PURPOSE: An electrodeless lighting device is provided to improve optical efficiency by forming a resonator to be resonated along the longitudinal direction of a resonating space. CONSTITUTION: A magnetron(100) generates a microwave. A waveguide(200) is communicated with the magnetron and guides the microwave. A resonator(300) resonates the microwave transferred through the waveguide. An electrodeless bulb(400) seals a discharge material in order to light by being excited by the microwave. The resonator resonates to a TM mode so that the electric field is formed along the longitudinal direction of a resonating space. |
