PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus for enabling intuitive operation while securing space saving.SOLUTION: In a vertical display mode, a control unit 108 sets the upper side operation reception area and lower side operation reception area of a touch panel 107b by vertically arranging them, allows an ultrasonic image displayed on the upper side to be in a selection state when touch operation with respect to the upper side operation reception area is detected, and allows an ultrasonic image displayed on the lower side to be in a selection state when touch operation with respect to the lower side operation reception area is detected. In a horizontal display mode, the control unit 108 sets the left side operation reception area and right side operation reception area of the touch panel 107b by horizontally arranging them, performs control to allow an ultrasonic image displayed on the left side to be in a selection state when touch operation with respect to the left side operation reception area is detected, and to allow an ultrasonic image displayed on the right side to be in a selection state when touch operation with respect to the right side operation reception area is detected. |
