<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time synchronous one-time password authentication method allowing easy change of the synchronous time between a server and an OTP device.SOLUTION: The authentication method includes: a process in which an OTP device 3 obtains a time difference used for determining the synchronous time between itself and a server 1, determines a time reflecting the time difference, and creates a time synchronous one-time password using the time; a process in which the server 1 determines a time reflecting the time difference; a process in which the server 1 creates a time synchronous one-time password using the time; and a process in which the server 1 authenticates a user by comparing the time synchronous one-time password created by itself with that created by the OTP device 3.</p> |
